Dark, it's not my area but if you haven't found out by next Monday I'm meeting up with some people who may well know, so I'll ask them.

I'm 90% sure we actually have that deck...I'm 50% sure it's our main deck, but it's been ages since I saw the big wooden box we keep 'em in...

Small world...

Congrats, the.dark

Well, I appriciate your help.  I have to admit, I have fallen in love with the rohrig set that Fitz led me to as well.  I also found aan oracle set called 'SoulCards'I have been really drawn to the artwork and the concept.

Yes I know.  That is why I want them.
(.thatismejustfunningbtw.)

PA. -  bless you but not everything is about the negative - and cards are not about the occult unless you make them about it.  You are making assumptions on why I want them.
You project that which you want onto anything  - from cards to idols like the virgin mary.  Your life is in your own hands.

I vowed to never do that.  During the worse dark days of my life- I seen a shop and went in for a reading.

I must admit- the reading was correct.

Of course she wanted me to come back.   But I did not.    My main question was over a court things I was in.   She told me I would prevail.   She also said there were harmful energy aimed at me....  something to that effect.  She was correct.   IE- another court thing.

I did a little experiment. At the time- I thought it was a good idea.  Each Day Jenny would ask me to read her horoscope.   (I got the paper at work)  So  I did.  She would fret and fret over what it all meant.   So I wanted to see how accurate all that was.  So for 8 months- she would ask- and I picked out the best one and told her it was hers.    She had less bad days this way.    Really.

I did eventually fess up.  She was mad of course- she told me that -it gave her false hope.
Anyhow the horoscopes are entertainment - not much more.

As to my  reading... I dont regret having one.   But I doubt I will have any again.

I used to have a set of witch cards that I used to guide me in telling the future and never had a bad session... I have been looking for a new set and can't find them anywhere.  I checked some of those on the links and haven't seen them so far.  Nor in my searches.  I bought some other cards and just can't get them like my old cards.  I still have my dreams and such, but the cards were a big help to me.  I've just tried ignoring them all and was told not long ago, twice, that I really needed to explore it all more as I was working at like a ten percent of what I could have.  It all just scared me to know things I shouldn't have known.  I didn't like seeing things that were going to happen and not having control of when I saw them or to be able to stop some of it.  Why see it and know if I can't prevent some of it?  So I'm on a fence and afraid to move either direction. lol

So dark, I know your frustration!  I'm glad you finally found them!  I guess if I am supposed to find them, I will.

All I know PA, is that tarot isn't meant to predict the future nor change the course you are heading on(of course there will be those that disagree).  It's not there to stop worries or concerns.  It might cause a lightbulb moment, or make you think.  We as people design and create our own destinys, cards cannot.  We are fated to die.  How we get there is of our own making.  We can go blindfolded and bound, or with eyes wide open.

thedark, that is a lovely set!  i had a friend who used that one.

i'm amored of the Robin Wood tarot myself...i love the pictures, and its a very 'ooo, yes, let me give you the answers!' type of deck to read from.

at one time we had probably 20 decks around the house, but not so much any longer since i'm the only reader here...probably 7 now although i am quietly indulging in a new set every once in a while.

Greetings M'Lady Lockit.
I have found some on ebay (but that was UK) and amazon (com not co).  I do not know if that will assist you?
I am in London at the weekend though and I will try a few places there.  I can let you know if I can lay my hands on them.

Hi kitten!

I have a couple of sets but like I have said to someone else, I usually get along better with oracle sets.  The most intuitive is the Osho Zen set I have.  I love the feel and the artwork rocks on it.  I also have the Fairy oracle, but thats more recreational for me and I am a Brian Froud fan.

thedark, i have the osho zen set too, but havent worked with it.  it was left behind when a former...well, i cant really categorize what she was besides batshit crazy! ran out and left us.  we're talking threw what she could lay her hands on immediately in the van and left.  *sighs*  that was a bad time, indeed.

i'm glad you found the one you were looking for and may it provide you many happy readings!

I do follow feng shui.   My feng shui master- says early on wrong info was purposely put out so that only a few would know how it really works.

Explore the world.  Yes.   Life is worth more then a TV set.    When you stop learning- you arent alive.

So I see your point.  :-)

.dark, I have the gypsy witch cards but they are not the one's I used.  I looked again at ebay and the closest thing to what I had was the rare witch Bruja's Oracle Future telling cards, but still not them.  I mostly wanted to know some things for myself.  I can tell other people much more than I can myself.  I typically get warnings for myself and nothing else.  Maybe I just need to find someone good that I can trust to give me a reading! lol  I am really ignorant to much of this, just know what I know and see and wanted more!

Thank you!

hi dark, Sir told me about this discussion and reading through has got my brain working... to the point i ran upstars and got some of my cards! if you like brian froud (i have those too) have a look for oracle of the dragonfae by lucy cavendish, the enchanted oracle by jessica galbreth, magical messages from the fairies by doreen virtue. if you like the more weird tarot have a look at the necronomicon tarot by donald tyson and anne stokes, have a look for dolphin divination cards by nancy clemens too... they're lovely.

i hope this helps!
