or something like it heh. Okay sooooooooooooooo my green fingers are...extremely..non-green but anyway there's this houseplant I got..and well I call it the pleb-plant 'cause it's such a pleb...anyway I'd reaaaally like to know the name of it and I haven't seen it in them flowershops so doh[8\|] It kinda looks like a zebra plant but one that doesn't bloom and the stripes aren't as distinct..and the bottom of the leaf is like reddish..and covered in salt or whatever it is that looks like salt. It goes to sleep when the night comes (that's what makes it a pleb!).. it lifts the leaves up n just closes up..n then spreads out again when it wakes up. Each stalk has it's own root...I think it multiplies in a way so ..um..like the stalk gets fat n starts to split at the top..and then splits up in 3-4 stalks each with it's own root..usually just 1 leaf on each stalk at the top....I don't really know how to describe a plant so.. any of you plant savvy people have any idea????[8\|] oh yeah and I don't think it does well in direct sunlight. Otherwise I'm cool calling it a pleb!

www.gflora.com If you cannot find it there......it doesn't exist. On the left there is a, plant identificator, that should help you find it.

omg the indentificator is soooooooo not..dumbass-savvy but after a lot of clicking I think it's..some kind of alocasia it just doesn't look as..dinosaur..y..I think I'm just gonna call it a pleb for now[8D]

hah! I have one of those sitting in my kitchen sink right now... it was kinda wilting outside on the porch, I thought it just didnt like the heat, so I brought it in... gonna try moving it to a different spot on the porch and see what happens...
