"Rest" your case? You made your case, with your own lofty and condescending dismissal of some very deeply felt and well-expressed insights. If you seriously believe my observation was an example of either pettiness or arrogance, you're making my point - you're only demonstrating your own cynical bias, because a lot of other people are finding a lot of value that (for whatever reason) you're unable to recognize. Can't you find another parade to rain upon?
