Status: offline 		I think in any part of this lifestyle we s hould always think things through. Some people do not and this gets them into trouble. Rushed loves rushed marriages Rushed collarings. how do you avoid the rush thing and how do you know when you are

that simply stops lots of the rushed choices.

Hi, i do understand the meaning of your question, so i won't pick your words apart. i don't think people rush because they want to fail....i think people rush cause they NEED....Of course its still not smart... but understandable. Over all i completely agree with you. There are indeed times when slowing down and looking before you leap CAN save some heartache down the road.

I have no ideal.  I have a tendency to close my eyes and jump and hope for the best.  Sometimes it works out amazingly well, sometimes not so much. 

But, I look at it as the rollercoaster of life, and I'm riding with my hands up in the air, laughing and screaming and enjoying the ride.

Smart, no, but it sure has been interesting!

eta - I've had two hours of sleep and been on a job interview today.  I can't spell, and I'm totally blaming it on my boobs........

I get what you are saying/asking too.  For myself, I learned a long time ago not to rush into anything.  If something felt "right" within less than 7 days, I stepped wayyyyyyyyyy back and looked at it.  I began asking questions.  I began learning the difference between a direct answer and an answer that went around the question to answer a question I never asked but which the person being asked preferred to answer.  I began looking inside myself as to why something felt right and I began asking the other person questions about why something felt right, especially if they were the ones telling me so.  Call me cynical but I know what I look at in the mirror each day (believe me...nice as it is, it ain't that pretty) and I know what is inside the person I call me (it ain't all that pretty either).  I watch for a person who wants to be involved with me very quickly and yet, hardly ever asks anything about me and what I think/feel.

Status: offline 		I usually take things fairly slowly and get to know the other person. Even if we're very comfortable, it still takes time to explore each other, and if we truly have that much chemistry/attraction/compatibility, it should be able to last long enough for us to get involved!

Status: offline 		I am very slow..slow like mollasses. Took me 3 years to agree to get married the last time. I still slow. i paus a lot.
The work i do people turn around so fast from one relationship to another, that they dont get a chance to breath. They are like spinning tops out of control. Nothing i can do but seed them about the benefits of slowing down. People cant be helped until they finally fall on their butt, or boobs and realize what they are doing just isnt working.

Falling though isnt always that bad, more the fear of it then actuality.

If it's right, I don't feel rushed.  I feel compelled.  And to satisfy what I am drawn to, yes, I will move quickly.
