I'll agree with those saying don't force your kink on others. But those saying not to waste TSA's time... well, I disagree there. I fly thirty or more times a year, and every time I do I intentionally set off the metal detector once- with a metal version of the Bill of Rights. I won't post a link to the site I order them from, but I'll share if anyone asks. Every time, after the metal detector goes off and they ask if I have anything on me, I say a variation of "Oh, I forgot, I can't fly with these" and hand over the card. As Jefferson said, "Those who sacrifice freedom for safety deserve neither." Of course, they've gotten me back, by repeatedly confiscating things from my checked luggage over the last few years- including a Zippo that was my dad's. Thankfully, I got a nice little flier telling me that it was a security threat to have a lighter in a "non-approved storage container." Or the countless tubes of toothpaste/bottles of cologne that I've forgotten to take out of my carry-on... because you know, smelling damned sexy is definitely a security risk. The whole system is stupid. But hey, I freely admit to being a Libertarian nutjob.
