(semi-humor, please insert tongue in cheek before reading) OK, so over on the main board is a thread about mutual needs. As I read that, I got a wonderful idea from one of the posters. Don't you love it when it all comes together in some sort of grand cosmic convergence? So there's the deal. I'm buying a new house for me and mine up in Canada. Houses, as you all know, are very expensive. Much to my amazement, there appear to be some slaves out there that have no needs and wants (except, apparently, to be collared). THIS IS PERFECT! For any of you out there who are in this category, please liquidate your net worth and send me a check (and I'm really looking for checks above 20k USD here... if you're net worth is below that, you don't meet my strict standards for accepting slaves). In return, I'll gladly get you a cute little dog collar just like Carol's. Granted, you don't know me from adam, but since you have no needs other than the collar I'm guessing this will be perfect for you. I can definitely get a collar sent out to you. And just think of how wonderfully you'll be serving me. That ought to get you a true sense of fulfillment. Oh hey, and as an added side benefit, since I'm a guy, this ought to take some of the heat off all those femdoms looking for generous subs. Now people can complain about the guy doms too. Actually, since my wife pays me tens of thousands annually for the privilege of wearing my collar, I ought to already be taking some of the heat off (some might call that 'me being retired' but all us True dominants know that it's my justly due tribute) I'd love to make a pitch here that all you female dominants should send me some money too but I'm thinking that may not go over as well. zaphira knows that she will be in the minority here; and she understands that your post was more about humor and sarcasm than anything else. She feels the need to point out though that there are some for who service to another is the only want or need that we have. When zaphira was collared, she agreed to give Master all her assests. These included money, her house, her car, any investments she had made; all assests. In return, Master gave to her food to eat, a bed to sleep in, clothes to wear, medical and health insurance, someone to turn to when she needed advice. More than that though, she was given a home in which she could serve; a place that she felt safe, secure, and useful. This slave believes that she got the better end of the deal

smiles And I don't argue with you zaphira nor is the concept of turning over all the money particularly horrifying to me... I mean seriously, Carol and I did that when we got just plain old vanilla married and nobody thought much of it. sometimes people make too much of things simply because they happen in the BDSM context. If the view I'm hearing from you is in the minority, then I suspect I"m right there with you. And insofar as your wants and needs, unless you would've accepted anyone's collar and your Master is just the first guy who came along, then you clearly had some sort of wants and needs that he somehow satisfies -- which I pray is true for the sake of poor Drakontos' ego when he reads this laughs. Dont' worry, I really do get wanting to serve... Carol truly does in large part exist to serve me. But the absolutism of saying the slave needs nothing and could sustain a relationship indefinitely on that basis just passes common sense -- which was the point of the posting. If you weren't already collared to Drakontos' would you have sent me all your money in response to that posting? If not, then you had some sort of need other than to serve.

The fatal flaw in your OP is that slaves own nothing.. we don't have any money ya Daffy Dom. Sheesh.. I'm in a cage all day, typing on the Internet through the bars and every once in a while, Sir comes and throws a bon bon at me. Besides, I don't wear clothes so have no pockets and, generally, those body cavities which have been trained to hold stuff are already full so, where the hell am I supposed to keep a check book? grins zaphira first met Master on a site, much like this one. He had an ad listing, and in it, he stated that any slave who accepted his collar would be required to give up all assests; including but not limited to: bank accounts, investment accounts, the selling of property ( if he felt it was important to sell; if it was not sold, then it was to be put in his name as per his wishes ). It is important to note though that Master did not require this until AFTER zaphira had begged his collar. The first year that zaphira was with Master, she slept on the floor naked. She was not allowed clothing; she had to earn the right to wear it. She had to earn the right to sleep on a bed. She was told to give up her job; Master requires that his property be available at all times. She is allowed use of the phone only after his permission has been given, she is allowed to see friends only if he agrees. Her presence here on this website is considered a priveledge that can be taken away if he so desires. The only absolute that was guaranteed to her was food, a roof over her head, and medical/health insurance. She was promised nothing else and expected nothing more. So, to answer your question; if you had listed such an ad, and zaphira felt that you were serious in the listing; she would contact you to find out exactly what you required in property; and if you could give zaphira that which she needs most. For zaphira, service to another includes security and safety; those are what she seeks when she begs a collar; and begging a collar is not to be taken lightly.

When you run off the edge of a cliff, you plummet to your death instantly, not when you happen to notice it') See, what you are failing to realize is that I am a True Master of the 12th order of the... wait I forgot what all it is, but SimplyMichael's got a great writeup on what all impressive things I am... but anyway... the point here being that I am way too honorable to steal some other man's existing slave even though clearly my lineage and skills would enable me to do so. So that means I'm only looking for slaves who are currently between collars and therefor, are either starving in the woods or have put together some sort of albeit temporary and shallow life for themselves. And if you're starving in the woods, as Kat713 pointed out, there's always organ harvesting to make the 20k mark. And GT: Nothing so far, but I'll keep you in the loop. I have to admit, I'm somewhat depressed nobody's contacted me for wire transfer information so far. I guess it really is true that true slaves are hard to come by. But I'm going to hang in there. I got a great feeling about this...

I would've called security and safety needs separate from the need to serve but that's just a symantics thing. I dont' actually think you and I see this very differently once past words although our relationships are clearly very different (as they should be). I very much see Carol as my literal possession... no strings... no caveats... no interpretations. But I acknowledge that it is possible to lose her again through neglect -- something I'd very much like not to do for reasons much larger than her being my slave.
