On any given day, there is always a thread about what is fake, what is true, the lack of this or that, but many continue to keep coming back. So, what keeps you coming back to the message boards? I started as oceanwynds and now am oceanwinds, and i keep coming back because i find the search boards a wonderful tool. I also do enjoy the posters and their comments, some i agree with and others i don't. i find all in all this is a good place to make a few good friends, talk to people and to learn. oceanwinds

The lower forums (Casual Banter) keep me coming back, the top forums I read and rarely comment to (well, sometimes, like now, I comment). I prefer to spend my time having fun, if possible, and much of the stuff up here seems more like complaining. Everyone's a fake, we've established that... but do we need another 100,000,000 threads proclaiming this? [:)]

entertainment It's like watching the trainwreck reality shows or Jerry Springer. You see the ugliness coming but you just can't turn away.

I’ve learned a lot over the last 3 yrs, since I found my way to CM; a lot about life, truth, and me; and some about D/s. I enjoy the company, and no matter how many times a subject reoccurs, there is always a small twist on the question being asked. (it is the responses that are repetitive) I haven’t made many friends, but the ones I have are ‘good’. I feel as though I am searching for someone/thing, but have no idea what. Being here just feels ‘right’. Kim

KittinSol, bwahahahahahahahahaha . . . . . ... Slapping my thighs funny, thank you . .. . . I've been posting to online forums for over 12 years now, I quite enjoy it all: the information exchange, the sniping & flame wars, the chance to get to know people in a textual format (which is one of my strong points), the ability to socialize in a way that's less strenuous & can be digested on my own time table, & (with CM in particular) cuz I'm feeling like a 'kink separatist' these days, lol . . . . . . & despite all the cries of fakeness I tend to think that there are ways in which people let themselves be more 'real' in these kinds of forums -- I really dig the harsh blunt honesty thing that's on display all over the place here, even when it's painful & uncomfortable . . ... . . . & there is some fabulous snarkiness here, from people I think I'd like in RL, & from those I think prolly find me annoying, from those I agree with & those I don't . . . . . . . quote: ORIGINAL: kittinSol Winding up conservatives [8D].

i am a service submissive and i gain my pleasure from making others happy. i keep coming back to get ideas and learn new things. i have met many on here and commented on many more. oh and my M'Lady has me do it to further expand my lifestyle knowledge[:D]. and of course i enjoy reading all of the posts i get a laugh every time i do.

I have been coming here for about two years. I love some of the postings. Some amazing folks that come through in the things they write. I adore some of the folks who post here. Sometimes the writing is so funny and clever, deep, sensitive and illuminating. Some folks I wish posted more and one I wish didnt get kicked off the boards! I like seeing all the different points of view. Some folks annoy me quite a bit but oh well, no big deal.

I love how diverse the forums are and I also like the other side..I met my Sir there. It's also easier to keep in touch with the friends I've met on CM. I'm able to ignore things that may irritate others and it would take quite a bit for me to leave. [;)]

That's what gets me running late when i'm supposed to be heading to work. But, i love when i have a question i can turn here and i know that it can be answered. Most people, are very supportive and helpful. Even when offering a difference of opinion. i love the bantering and joking back and forth and seeing the personalities of everyone come out in their posts that sometimes just don't come across in profiles. i love how it also shows just how many different D/s relationships there are, when people are talking about the dynamics in theirs it's mind-blowing how different every relationship is. There's nothing cookie-cutter and i really like reading about that as well. Someday, i would love to be able to meet the people behind the screennames. They seem like wonderful people. [:)]
