Joseff... I'm sorry to hear you and yours had this happen. When my car was broken into on a sunny day in a neighborhood full of people walking up and down the sidewalk and sitting on their front steps, I had a hard time understanding how they could turn a blind eye as some thug/s kicked my car and smashed my window. I can only imagine how difficult it will be for a 3-yr old to understand why someone needed to take his Elmo jacket...but those little ones can be quite resilient. As an adult, I just felt violated. No matter what security percautions you take, they don't take that sting away. There's no rhyme or reason to what and why. I'm still left to wonder why they took the bananna I had on the front seat and my journal from the back seat(along with other, more valuable items), but left a perfectly good radio system. As others have said...thankfully no one was home or hurt. Things can be replaced (at a cost, of course) but people can't.
