Hi daydreamer27. If you're in San Diego I'd advise you to check out Club X. http://www.clubxsd.org/. I lived in San Diego for a few years and the group was invaluable. They're very nice people, lots of fun to hang out with, and very happy to meet new people and guide them in their quest. -Paul
