I ran into an old buddy of mine that I haven't seen in 10 years. The last time I saw him was in the Fall of 1999. I was going into a convenient store for smokes, and he was coming out. He said, "my full name" and "how the hell are you?" We stood there and talked for 20 minutes. I wasn't doing anything and neither was he, so we went and had a few drinks. It just so great to run into someone that you never thought you'd see again. It was a pleasant ending of an otherwise crappy day.

Most of the time yes. I hope for the best in change, life style, and health for everyone. Sadly, weither past friend or foe, I've bumped into some that have fallen and or never changed. Drugs, alcohol, running around, etc.... have caught up to more than a few people I've known.

I ran into someone at the Ren Faire last year in Tampa that I knew from Faire in CA... very cool :)

Yea, my dam neighbor...I was pulling out of my driveway and I ran into him and his dog with my car. oh wait you mean on a more positive note

I've been running into alot of people I went to school with, alot I haven't seen since high school. It really makes my day to think to myself, hmm..I'm glad I dont look that old. [sm=dancer.gif]

That happened just this morning at the local convenience store. I've not seen this gentleman in years and he approached my vehicle as I got out. I had .08 seconds to recognize him before I got squashed into a big bear hug. He said he missed my "laid-back-ed-ness" as all the women he now knows are crazy. We're having coffee later :) p.s. sorry you had a sucky day

Has happened to me a few times. There's this old saying about anywhere you go in the world, you meet someone from WV. Its true.

I love those moments. Most of the time it is a good thing, they have done well with their lives and you feel good about it. Sometimes it is sad or bittersweet though. slaveboy, glad you had a good experience to end a crappy day.
