Actually there is an easy way not to deal with this. Go to munches in your area and meet real people.

CM already has options to report both cmails and also profiles that violate the TOS.  They do actively cull the herd, but the scammers just keep popping up.

Thanks DS for getting around to "report," as well as block and delete. Does it have any effect? Don't know, and don't care. It only takes a minute and is the process, or action, CM offers.

UncleNasty, housesub4you posted, in another thread, a spam letter he received based on the Nigerian scam.  I had received it twice a couple of weeks ago, and reported both.  So I'm afraid that cm may not be removing them promptly.

Scammers share things like intro emails, and also usually have multiple accounts on any given site. They know they will be spotted and removed sooner or later, but are lazy enough to keep using the same "script" anyway.

Occasionally, when I am bored to no end, I'll come across one of these and treat it like an RPG. I'll start leading them on and see just how far I can carry things before they get pissed and realise they've been had and start cussing me out. It kills some time and at least for that time it keeps them from pestering someone else.

I notice my local supermarket have started to sell spam fritters. Love them but Master hates spam. Going to have to find a way to kick out of the house for an evening so I can have some. Yum. Spam fritters, thick chips and baked beans.

Scammers: 89,000 in Nigeria alone.

Look for grammar mistakes, inability to use pronouns and adjectives, weird mis-matches in their original profile. If they look like a fashion model....... 99% chance they are a scammer,- male or female.

Overseas: Usually a scammer. Stuck somewhere (like a hotel) all bs.

Then you add them to your messenger after talking with them a couple times here on CM.
