Thank you everyone. This is all I think about since I learned it. I am just getting up 11AM- went to bed at 1:30 AM. His viewing and burial is at the other end of the state. I did not go to it. Maybe there will be a local one or I could even throw one. The gay bar I am sure would have something going on. I just am not one to leave the house much. I plan to get in touch with his sister. Letting things settle down then to see if help is needed. One time- -we were out. Understand that for like 6 years I was age 29. Then I could not get away with it any longer. I was not liking or wanting to acknowledge, middle age. So there we are at Perkins. He announced to the whole restaurant that I had gray hair. LMAO. I wanted to crawl under the table. He enjoyed the drag shows. I never been to one. So the week he passed he was involved in the miss gay pa regional pageant. Flaming gay guys arent my thing. Then there is the drama. Drama for the sake of drama with no real- reason. EVERYTHING becomes drama. So be that as it may- I did not run in the same crowd as Jim did. He liked all that. I think I have to get out some- so this year- I will have to go up to the park a few times. When I was "29" I was quite popular up there. ;-0

He never let me forget the ice storm! Oh man. I had to run out to meet a construction hunk I found in the personal newspaper ads. All media was saying the ice storm was the worst. I figured once I was there I could stay over night. Well this guy was so good at slipping it in. We had some fun- but then I thought being around a drunk chain smoker for the night was not worth it. So I left. I could not see with a bad heater core. Some guy came and told me to stay put. Well I kept going. Then the police found me. Brought me home. I was buzzed. But I could not see- the heater core and the road was badly iced. NO ONE was on the roads. Luckily I did not get a ticket. Well the next day I needed a ride to my car. Jim drove me. I never heard the end of the ice storm. I probably could have gotten a DUI over it. I am glad I did not. Anyhow- for years I heard about the ice storm. lol

They put his house up for sale already. It is underpriced. (by 20k) I still notice things. Late at night particularly. Jenny has all kids of rules as to when I can call and when not. I understand. I dont want to be a jerk. I did go up to the park the other day. I brought the bike up. So now the bike tire has a hole in it- when I got home the next day the truck also now has a flat tire. argh. That was a new tire too! Ebay irks me. 2 sellers on ebay- and silver I bought. Ok- 2 of them never shipped. So 1 I "won" the dispute with paypal... but now it is 5 days to get into my account. The other one is still pending. So here I am with $330 in limbo. 1st I did not get the sivler I bought- and now as the money should eventually be refunded- I could have completed a sale and been done wiht it. So now the price creaps up. I started buying silver when the 700 billion $ bail out was passed. It is up 40% since then. Jim enjoyed hearing about all that. I showed him a few of my finds and as it turned out- he owned some of the same stuff -that they made jewelry out of. :-) Eventually I will run into folks he ran with. I asked a last name of Sharon and no reply. I dont think Jims sisters understood him in the way that I did. Jim would call the apartment when I lived with Bob. So we started talking. He tauht me how to take a punch. (system punch) and I sure learned alot from him. Now I regret that I never went to a drag show with him. He loved them. We would go out to eat- and he would tell me the details of nearly everyone that walked in. I was amazed by how many he knew- and how accurate he was. Listen to this. No one likes the code guy coming around. When he rented- the code guy came around. IMO- such regs get passed down to the tenant. But he did not see it that way. He pointed out every little violation with his rental. I mean he had like 30 items that he wanted the inspector to write up. Once the code guy seen that he wasnt going to leave very fast- he could not wait to get out of there!!!! So then Jim was mad because the write ups were not as complete as he wanted. So then his rent went up $25. Man I did not hear the end of that. lol. He wanted to buy that dump. I talked him out of it. It was good for picking up cock tho. He could see a convenience store from his front door. So - run out for a carton of milk- get blown. easy set up. lol. I do feel that his use of medications and definately cigarrettes, contributed to his death. I am glad he blew thousands on trips to Montreal. He got to live. He got a retirement. And he owned a home. Not everyone gets there in life. He was very somber over dates. Dates his kin passed- the date he broke up with his bf. Often when he went away- I was his house sitter. His house had to be sat. He fooled around with guys that -some in and out of jail. Fun in bed- but no one you would want in your house. So my job was to make it look like someone was home and someone was in and out. He even let me bang my fing there. :-) On his trips he would get me a souveneer for watching his house. He was NEVER cheap with the gifts!!!! In fact- he refused to tell me when he spent- but I knew it was plenty. When he did that- or stuff he did not want in his house- stuff he gave to me- he would be on me- to why arent you using it. One gift was a beautful picure of the Chicago skyline. end part 1

He was one to get ride of stuff. He did not like clutter at all. One day he gave me photo albums as I was into photos then. I said- do you know there are pics in here? He said- yeah- just toss the pics and use the albums. I told him- I was holding unto the album and one day those pics might be appreciated. Pics of him and his EX on trips to Calif., and vacations. So I have them. We did not have pics of him and I. Current pics of him- are- very hard to look at. He looks frail and in pain. One thing to note-. we both shared a scar. I have this surgery scar that is cool. I never decompression. It is cool. The surgeon that did the surgery was among the team of surgeons that were flown into Washington when Reagan was shot! So it was an honor to have it. Well Jim had the same scare. One day before I owned a computer I was on his computer- in chat room. Well-- some cop wanted to phone and have phone sex. So... Jim said to go for it. It was strange but neat. I guess I am special. He had alot of buddies.. but "I" was the one he wanted to talk too as the last person of the day. That he could sleep better that way. So for many years- we had that habit. We had alot of 3-way calls together. I mean he could work a phone! He loved to hang on the phone. The worst time to call him was 9am. That is when he was in a deep sleep. I hope his family realizes what they lost. He was always bailing them out. I think he liked that I NEVER asked to borrow money from him. EVER. But his family did. ALways an 'emergency" sisters- and then nieces and nephews. After his car accident he lost alot of his fight.

It is over 5 months now. I still think about him alot. Even today mom said she had been thinking of him as well. I started to do a cyber grave on him- then stopped. His friendship was special. He knew me well- and rolled with my flaws. He seemed to be able to predict outcomes too. His friendship outlasted 2 LTRS. I should have spent more time with him. I might have been able to stop him from dying. maybe. I did not think this day would be this soon. What a loss this is. I know others have this happen in their life.... it is chilling none the less.
