is there a difference ?

Mercnbeth -> RE: Masonry vs Lifestyle (4/26/2009 6:20:25 AM)

yes.

what makes you think they are the same?

NiteCrush -> RE: Masonry vs Lifestyle (4/26/2009 6:38:52 AM)

ive been researching on masonry lately and  realize masonic rituals are pretty related to the lifestyle.. slavery.. humiliation. golden showers bloodplay.. brownshowers  orgies.. etc etc

i know not everyone goes.. to those lengths .. however .. i still think there is a link between the two

where are you getting your misinformation?
members of your local Masonic Lodge detailed this for you?

chamberqueen -> RE: Masonry vs Lifestyle (4/26/2009 6:48:53 AM)

They could easily be intertwined for some but Masonry also has some mysticism and a lot of enforced secrecy, along with a very strict hierarchy.  There is also a politicism to the group that isn't automatically seen in the BDSM lifestyle.  I can see how you could pick up on some similarities but the basic reasoning behind it is different.

NiteCrush -> RE: Masonry vs Lifestyle (4/26/2009 6:51:19 AM)

you are funny..  im not part of  masonry in any way shape or form..

and Im sure you know that no one is allowed to share anything.. unless you are initiated..

my information sources are correct.

and there is plenty of information on masonry all over.. all you have to do is look into it a lil deeper.

im sure you know what i mean.

I will be waiting for you to site sources for this information.

NiteCrush -> RE: Masonry vs Lifestyle (4/26/2009 6:57:53 AM)

ive started exact same thread on FL ..
here is one of the responses ive got...

responded 3 minutes ago: It may have been connected at one point, but not a lot of those rituals are still practiced. From what i know anyway. Most of the men in my family are Masons.

LadyPact -> RE: Masonry vs Lifestyle (4/26/2009 6:58:56 AM)

I don't exactly consider a random reply on another site a reliable source.

NiteCrush -> RE: Masonry vs Lifestyle (4/26/2009 7:01:45 AM)

this slave knows what she knows by way of being brought up in a household that included initiated members of Masonry and their associated groups of Eastern Star, DeMolay and Job's Daughters.  she started going to functions (pancake breakfasts, etc.) at the local Lodge as an infant.

where did you get YOUR information?

you mean to spread misinformation, that much is obvious...since you have no idea what is shared and what is intended to be kept secret.

if your "sources" are telling you Masonic ritual is all about scat and orgies...this slave can most definitely assure you, they are wrong.

That's a cop-out.  If you are going to come on a forum and make a claim such as this, be prepared to back up your statement with some source or fact.  Don't blow it off by telling others to "look it up".

edited to add... I was raised around members of Freemasonry and The Eastern Star. What interaction have you had with members?

it does not work that way if you want to be taken seriously. YOU make the statement...therefore YOU provide the link to back your claim.

Otherwise...it make you look like you are full of crap. And something tells me you are

Lockit -> RE: Masonry vs Lifestyle (4/26/2009 8:43:21 AM)

Okay one thing stands out in my mind here.  OP, you post this on the mistress board rather than on the master's board, where you might find men who actually are involved in the Freemason's and such.  Trying to slip one by?

Although I have read many things I question about things the Mason's have done or do... I have never heard of some of the things you mention as things they are involved in as ritual or anything else.  While there may be some secret's to what they do especially in the higher realms where it might be very, very secret and suspect by many... I am not saying me... I do not know where you could be getting some of your information and your accusations are pretty strange.

Which brings me to another thing I noticed.  You didn't come to ask a question and what we thought.  You came with a connection you believed and wished to promote for some odd reason.  Why ask a question you already have personal answers to?  What is your motive?

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Masonry vs Lifestyle (4/26/2009 9:03:17 AM)

Crowley??  Are you saying that all Masons are Thelemites?  Not super likely, there are only a few Temples flourishing, though they do accept new members.

Get your story straight, and if you want to participate, just go join those mystery men.

is there a difference ?

Of course.  One is the use of mortar in building materials and the other has to do with dominant/submissive relationship dynamics.

I'm a Mason.

So is EVERY SHRINER

The Scottish and York Rite are ALSO Masons

So is the Order of the Eastern Star.

YOU are spouting Bullshit.

NONE of the Rituals are based on BDSM nor do they have ANYTHING to do with Golden Showers, where ever you got that crap you need to go get your Money back

In a Year or so I will be Joining the Scottish Rite as a Mason and our Masonic Lodge Meets Monthly.

Masons are just a Group of Men who believe in passing down Knowledge.... NOT Kink.

Yes I cannot tell you what the Rituals consist of because it is part of the Secret we keep within the Society.

We are a Society with a Secret NOT a secret Society and you can get LOTS of information off the Main Web Sites.

What is funny is because we are so dedicated to holding our secret there are groups most likely like what you got your information from that like to "Suspect" and when they do that you get the same retarded crap you get.

If you wanna know what Masonry is all about, CONTACT your local Lodge and GET TO KNOW THEM.

The Shriners are ALL Masons you think they would be involved in Kink?
The Scottish Rite and the York Rite are all Masons they do work with Orphans all over the world.
The Knights Templar is the ONLY Masony Group that has anything to do with religion and they simply require that you be a Christian.

Spouting the crap you are is part of what makes being a Mason so hard sometimes because people like you just want to believe there is something strange about it.

So that you know if you educate yourself before you just believe what you have been told you might find yourself in a better position to understand what is going on around you.

FR

I've seen some bizarre threads in my time at CM, but this beats all of them.
