Jockstraps.

No, not terribly.  I like the support they give, but, I don't normally care for the super wide waistband on them, nor the material that the common strap is made of.  There are of course some, by R.I.P.S., GoSoftwear, and a few other companies that are far better quality of material and design that provide the support.  Normally I like N2N's ultra bikers.  Bike shorts, with a pouch front.  Very comfy for me, and their ultra joggers, I tend to wear often, especially at work, on my feet all day.  Good support, and the compression on the legs helps prevent fatigue.

I've been looking into getting jockstraps to wear (instead of normal underwear), actually.

Usually I wear Boxer-briefs, though. I love the control, and the simultaneous non-restrictive feeling where (on normal briefs) it would normally cut in. I don't like boxers because... well, they're like freeballing, which I'm good with every now and then, but not every day.

I haven't worn a jockstrap since I was forced to in high school gym class.  I will not wear tight undergarments.  My boys need air, so only the old fashioned boxer shorts for me.

Kind of, I'm not really into that kind of bare elastic waistband though.  More like these.  Now if only the rest of my body looked that good.  Sigh... well, I'm working on it.

The Diesel model was a hundred times more attractive, but I agree with you about the elastic band... I guess it's all in the details. I've been fishing for more photographic examples, but my husband's started to give me funny looks. More later lol.

Sorry that looks highly uncomfortable to me.  The seam is going up the crack of the ass, no space to move things around when you need an adjustment, and I wouldn't answer the door in something like that (and yeah, I will answer the door in my boxers and "wife beater."  Hell, I'll even go out and get the mail if I think no one is around).  Also if I'm paying 15 bucks, it better be a 3-pack at least [:D].  Cotton, loose, airy, boxer shorts for easy access when you need to discreetly scratch, move things around, or a friendly gal's hand is avaliable.

I always thought they were just briefs and boxer briefs (kitten's and BKsir's examples respectively)...

I agree with slaveboyforyou on price though :P That's the only reason I haven't bought actual jock straps... they cost more than ten dollars for one that looks remotely comfortable!

I'm used to 9.99 for a four pack or something :P

It's the pouch front and support they provide that puts them into such category.  And you'd be surprised at how comfy they actually are.  Then again, everyone is built differently.  I'll answer the door in them, it's my house, and they can take me as I am, or they can go away, not my problem. ;)

Hmm, I actually wear boxer-briefs myself (they type you linked) and I find them incredibly comfortable ^_^

I've definitely *met* people wearing just them. That was interesting, actually. Walked out of my room to my kitchen, started preparing food, and noticed people were sleeping across the way. Suddenly very happy I hadn't slept naked.

My problem with the normal briefs is usually the fact that they cut into my skin where the back of my leg meets my arse T_T That's why I wear boxer briefs instead.

My problem with briefs and boxer briefs is having my testacles bunched up like a sack of potatoes.  Your genitals are meant by nature to hang free and loose.  The last time I wore tighty whities, they had pictures of the Incredible Hulk on them.  Grown men shouldn't wear things like that.

I happen to love a buff man in tighty whities. Oh goodness it just got warm in here, my mind is filled with delish images. Long lean body, long muscular legs... that bulge. Oh god. *blinks rapidly* Yeah. I likes em. Lots.

Oh and jockstraps?
Never worn one.

Heh, that made ne think... I pretty much can't do a guy in tighty whities XD I'd laugh my arse off. It ruins all sexual attraction for me, and makes me think of my father [:'(]
