FindAPet -> Hi and help! (4/21/2009 3:14:44 AM)

Man, it's taken me ages to write out my profile: far too long - and nearly a hundred years to figure out what I needed to write and I'm still not sure that there's any point in writing it at all!!!

After about fifteen years of meeting girls from sites like this I always seem to end up putting their lives back together for them, rather than actually having a relationship with them :-/

So maybe I'm looking for the wrong type of person and this profile might help me find someone less scary! Or perhaps the fault is with me being too nice to crazy people?!

Time will tell...

I'd appreciate any comments about what I've written on my profile - I'm sure it's far too long and unlikely to be read by my target audience, but marketing is not a skill I have: if it was, I wouldn't be here!

best wishes to all

Well, the obvious things are:

1. Make it either a couples or a single profile, depending on how involved your wife will be.  She's mentioned and it is technically a couples profile, but it reads as a single Dom profile.

2.  Add a picture.  If you're afraid of your relatives and coworkers stumbling on the profile, obscure your face.  But add a picture.

3. Drop the bit about the Irish and African girls.  You come off being cheerful about them, but it's still complaining.

Thanks for taking the time to help: the complaining has gone, the photo is awaiting approval and the singles or couples profile is probably always going to be wrong either way!

Whilst the girl will be joining the family, I'll be the only one she'll be having a sexual relationship with... If I set it as a couple's profile, girls looking for a sexual relationship with my wife will be disappointed. Hopefully as 'my' profile, it's more obvious that the girl will be mine... A polyamorous 'V' rather than a triangle... I guess I need to figure out how to get that across in the profile without another essay!

How about "Hetro married dominant seeking, hetro female slave sexually serving only myself, to join household." Or something like that. Not the smoothest wording, I haven't had my coffee yet, but it works.

It really isn't THAT difficult.

Just make a single profile and write it like you did.

Just tell them you're a great hung dude. I promise it will work![;)]

Ah, something subtle like, "If I didn't keep tripping over my cock, I'd be perfect"? [:'(]

Needs more thought... :-)

I think the story of the girl and puppy thing should be in your journal.
When I read a profile, I like to see it being concise, and not much wording.  Too much explanation to me becomes initially boring, and first impressions are always the best.
Just what I think personally.

Great idea - I would never have thought of that, and originally posted because I was sure it was too long. Thank you :-)
