This whole gay marriage thing will end in the near future, and gay marriage will be allowed.

The same arguments where made about women having the rights to vote, own land, and the same thing was said about blacks in this country.

There is that one line which secures in the end gay marriage will be allowed  "All men are created equal"  This is what wins in every court case with issues such as these. 

So let them take it to every court in the land, states are starting to realize it is a losing battle.

If a church does not want to perform the service, fine there are others that will or go in front of a judge. 

As for "marriage" being sacred?????  Yea, well the people in Hollywood, seems to make a rather large joke of marriage, I mean how sacred  was Britteny's 20 minute marriage.

I don't understand how gay marriages can be disallowed. The 1964 Civil Rights Act clearly states that you cannot have inequalities based on sex, age, race, religion etc. And disallowing marriage based on the sex of the spouses is an obvious violation of that.

Incredibly, your statistic that's widely portrayed is incorrect. These are not cross sectional studies rather they are longitudinal studies that come up with this number.

It works like this: the longitudinal study done here is where a group of individuals takes the current day number of marriages then waits five years to divide that by the number of divorces. People who had been married 20 years get their divorce thrown in with the group who had just been married 5 years ago.

Cross sectional studies would follow a group of marriages through the entirety of that group of marriages rather than relying bloated numbers to make people scared.

let me see.  the govt wont bann derivative contracts, but will void gay marriage type contracts, will sign away all our rights to Goldman Sacks, JP Morgan.

I am sorry, but as a gay male- "they" have to sweeten the deal.  "allowing" me to get married isnt enough.... not for how far the tax man hand in into my wallet.     How about I will be single and I dont get taxed.
