i also have recieved i cannot remember how many of those and i have recieved some on pets as well next thing they might come up is the one about social security damn they are doing that now

They would verify the existence of your phone number and, despite the Do-Not-Call lists, hammer it with unlimited, and possibly automated, phone calls using falsified Caller IDs. Trust me... the moment of frivolity will lead to months and months of irritation.

I felt SO HONORED the other day..when I received my FIRST ever!! CM-nigeria spam mail[:)] (on collarme) just wanted to share with all of you guys sob I'm so touched...[8D] anyway..from now on...my aim is set even higher, that is to get an FBI scam in my inbox!

Faking the FBI has been going on for a couple of years now. I have an email account that routinely gets five or six FBI-spams per day... along with the various Microsoft-spams... Nigerian type of scam... and my all-time favorite the "put your name at the top of the list and send everyone else five dollars" scam.
