I understand theoretically the value and even why someone would like to practice self bondage. I understand and occasionally practice bondage outside. When I think of self bondage, my mind goes to a situation a couple of years ago here in Brisbane, when an experiences practitioner attempted self suspension bondage with no one present. The gentleman died as the result of something going on. Officially and for the benefit of family who were not aware of his kink, he was listed as a suicide. Never would I want to visit this on my family and friends. I’m by nature a safety conscious cove and probably am guilty of some form of over kill in that area including having experienced people handy in case of accidents but even then self bondage is just not my cup of tea..
