quote:

On April 4, 1968, LIFE photographer Henry Groskinsky and writer Mike Silva, on assignment in Alabama, learned that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., had been shot at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis. They raced to the scene and there, incredibly, had unfettered access to the hotel grounds, Dr. King's room, and the surrounding area. For reasons that have been lost in the intervening years, the photographs taken that night and the next day were never published. Until now.

Tomorrow is the 41st anniversary of his death....and i can't help but think what America, as a nation, would be if not for this man.

For fuck's sake Mike, read the post I made.  I said I was anticipating a few posts on this thread.  You do know what anticipation means, don't you?  The MLK murder is a favorite of conspiracy theorists, which we have an abundance of here.  Do you get it now?

Oh slaveboy I got it...just wasn't aware MLK conspiricists were so prevalent here.
What the fuck you were the third post.....did you think I hadn't noticed that too.

The MLK killing- is not something I think about.
