4 dead and 20 to 40 hostages taken during a citizenship test.

This is my hometown. Not much coverage on local tv news, but it's all over the national news channels.
My ex works in a large DSS building kitty-corner to the building the gunman has hostages in. That's locked down, the high school across the street's been lock down.

The suspect is being brought out of the building as I type this.

I just caught that story and have a bad feeling that we are going to have a record number of these types of incidents from the way the year has been going so far.  [:o]

Not sure if this is an arguement for less guns or more guns it could be argued either way

I live about a three hour drive from Binghamton and it felt much to close for my comfort.  I can’t imagine how much worse it would feel to be there.  You and your town will be in my prayers tonight.  I sincerely hope no one near and dear to you is hurt.  I’ve been to Binghamton a couple of times and I remember that it was a very beautiful town.  Damn shame.  Damn, damn, shame.

Tragic, just tragic and sickening. Not touching the gun or political stuff, my heart goes out to the people involved and up close and way to personal for comfort and their families
