The woman said she would try, and then, she said, "Yes, I got the door open."

Status: offline 		Somehow I assumed she was afraid she would start off the car alarm if she opened it.

The Man insists that I am to wait in the car until he walks around and opens my door. Frequently he will get out and the car will lock me in, so that if he doesn't use the clicker to open it, the damned alarm goes off. I'm assuming she was waiting for her friend/partner to return, decided she wanted something from the store she was in, and was afraid of setting off the alarm.
