How do you close the forum account. I don't see the option anywhere. Thanks.

Taken from CollarChat.com's Terms of Service (link at the bottom of each discussion page):

12.1. Voluntary: Closing your account voluntarily is accomplished by clicking on "My Account" on the main menu and then clicking on the "Close Account" button.

12.2. Involuntary: Without limiting other remedies, the Website may immediately issue a warning, temporarily suspend, indefinitely suspend, or terminate Your access and use of the Website and refuse to provide Our services to You at any time, with or without advance notice, if:

12.2.1. We believe that You have breached any material term of these Terms and Conditions or the documents it incorporates by reference;

12.2.3. We believe that Your actions may cause legal liability for You, Our users or Us; or

12.5. Cancellation of Your account or other business relationships with Us shall not be deemed to terminate Our relationship with You with respect to the provision of unsolicited commercial e-mail. This business relationship is specifically deemed to continue indefinitely until explicitly terminated by You, by following the automated procedure specified in section of 12.1 of this document.

I just went looking on the forum pages for the "My Account" link and didn't find it. There does seem to be an equivalent link on the CollarMe side of things, so perhaps this is the link to which the ToS refers? If that's the case then it appears that you cannot separate your CollarMe and CollarChat accounts.

Already tried to delete the account on the other side, it said closed, but it keeps letting me log in. And on this side can't find the option at all. It's like the Hotel California.

Anyway, I wrote one of the mods, figure they may have to do it, or maybe something is cached or who knows. I figure someone knows how to do this though.

I don't think you can close down an account on this side, but I think you can hide your profile by clicking "my profile" in the upper right. There might be an option for hiding your profile. Not sure though, as I haven't tried it.

As far as the other side of collarme, I had the same issue that you described above. I emailed support and they told me that when you close your account, you can still reclaim it for a short while. They suggested that I close the account and then NOT sign in for a week. Tried it, and it didn't work. I've hidden the profile as an alternative.

You can't. At least you have never been able to. Both Darcy and I still have the ones we had before we met and he created the joint profile.

Well, because, on every other place on the internet it is simple to just close it, so, figured something is wrong if I can't just close it. Oh, well, guess, accounts here are one way. LOL.
