Do they really show four-minute commercials in Thailand?

I have seen a much shorter variant that didn't include her talking to the man, or the scene where the violin was smashed, just the very ending of the piano solo, and then her coming in with a taped violin (and enough to establish that she was deaf, before that). Probably less than 2 minutes? This was on US television.

Thai, not Japanese.  And Pantene is an American product (made by Procter & Gamble).

What a lovely ad. Here in the UK their ad is of a classical pianist who became famous because of a pop star reality show. She plays a classical piece with flowing glossy hair being tossed around.  Seems that are sticking with the classical music theme all round.

Ahh, my mistake.  I do love their food and their women.    Given the choice, the food would be hard to pass up.  crispy duck, mmmmmmm...

Crispy duck, otherwise known as Peking Duck, is a Chinese dish.

As a fiddle player I could see that that little girl doesn't really play the violin.
Nice story though.

very nice. If US commercials were like that...maybe I would pick up TV again.

Did you know that each note in a scale is related to the velocity of the planets?    astounding!    (do ray me so la ti doe)

Only in the traditional western sense of a scale :P

And you forgot "fa"

it's:

do re me fa so la ti(or si) do

There are more syllables if you're using 'moveable do' to put the music into solefedge. Fixed do just uses those above (substituting si for ti).

... nods, admitting having had Peking Duck before...

The Thai version (see link below) is also wonderful.
