Sounds like the run-up to Michelangelo in the early 90s. It was to launch on a Sunday so, before we left work on Friday, we set all the DOS clocks/dates back one day. When we came in on Monday, we corrected the date/time on each system. If the virus was present, it never 'saw' the target date to launch and Michelangelo didnt create any casualties in our division.

Wasnt really a practical answer for the network systems but it worked well for the stand-alone units !

MsFlutter,

Thank you for this. I am using linux more and more.

But it is still good to know and another reason to
do a "spring cleaning" of the hard drive in late March.

We need to revert to the old numerical system, 20 for the women, 21 for the men.
