It's bad enough that most of the profiles are commercial enterprises, but we've now reached a new low point.  Increasingly the ones that say they are not such an enterprise are exactly commercial enterprises.  You will find that these profiles all sound very similar because they are mostly rearranging the same sentences.  Rather than hiding the fake profiles after they send SPAM to you, just make a mental note of it.  You'll begin to notice that the same profiles are accessed by the entity on a regular basis...ask yourself, is it possible that 20 people ALWAYS logon the web site back to back EVERY DAY?  Only if they are a business...

Another tip worth mentioning is to take some part of the profile text and search this site (www.collarme.com) via Google.  If you are lucky they will have a typo or misspelling (chances are they are not even in the US).  This will get hits on Google and you can follow the link on Google to the deleted or inaccessible profile...

If its a fake profile, why would you bother googling it?

first of all I do not waste my time with googling around profiles and secondly I am online pretty much every day due to being online via my mobile where I have unlimited use of internet in my contract, which means that most of the time when I am in public transport or at uni or having a sleep-in shift at work I automatically have a look at it as I am not only here due to some involvements with Doms but also due to some nice online friends and the message board as such...does that make me a fake just for being logged on most of the time every day??? I don't quite think so...

This is somewhat helpful, but what I've found is the following:

1. Professional photo shoot look, often looking like a wet dream.
2. What they seek in a partner is EVERYTHING
3. The weight is often too low for a human being of that height, likely entered in kilos, rather than pounds.
4. Geography is typically wrong. For instance, living by the sea in Nevada.
5. Interests are typically non-existent, slim and no fetishes.
6. From a country known for fraud based 'sweat shops'.

As you go down the list, the more items are true, the more likely it's a fake account, in my opinion. I just hide and block them as I see them.

I often say that I am in search of a LTR...

One of the tips that might be useful in spotting an imposter is that after we work you over and fuck you a few times you will recieve an obituary in the mail notifying you of my untimely passing.  It's all so sad.

In lieu of flowers it would be appreciated if all proceeds were forwarded in the form of a donation to Domiguy Industries.

Here's a better idea.  Stop looking for a partner online and get your butt to some munches and events.  Then you don't have to worry about online fakes.

Or how about getting to know someone rather than worrying if they are looking for a LTR in their profile or not? Conversation is a hell of a tool for weeding out fakes.

When I met my very REAL Fox on here, he wasnt searching for a LTR or anything else. But we have one. Funny, even without the buzzword in there.

I rarely search profiles and never google them! lol
Fake... is subjective to what you are searching for, I know many men who would happily pay for a variety of services.
Pay does not equal fake. It is simply another way of getting your needs met.
But if commercial is not what you seek, a good thing to do if you are searching is to ask.  And if it comes to a point where money is mentioned, opt out.
