Yeah, and you should hear the sound effects when I have some (uncompensated) milk. Sounds like a war breaking out! Folks can hear it 3 feet away.

Maybe it's a warning for folks to get out of range.

Or at least an argument for separate bedrooms for better martial harmony.

That's easy. From an evolutionary standpoint, it's advantageous for a male to spread his DNA among as many females as possible. This is nature's way of ensuring that you never stay mated to one woman for very long.
