So, you are saying that our banking policies are determined by the roll of a dice? Interesting concept, that debts become part of a major gambling effect. I fail to see how someone buying my debt from a bank clears me of a debt. A debt is still a debt, no matter who owns it. If the government is giving my portion of money to help cover this debt, then I should soon get a notice in the mail saying, hey, your debt is cleared up, cause it's been paid in full by the stimulus package.. That however, hasn't happened to anyone, I'm more than sure. If it is has, than no one has been talking to the news about it. And it shouldn't matter who's in charge when, if the company made a mistake, and didn't fix it and cleared it up in the paperwork, then it would still show as a mistake that the company did, and still show that it never got fixed, so why should I trust a new manager 10 yrs later to do the same thing with it as before, if they never bothered to fix the problem in the first place? Debts isn't a game to be playing at any given time.

Banks buy debt all the time are you not familiar with this concept? The debt is still a debt but someone else is responsible for collecting it for a fee that the original bank writes off because making some money back is better than making no money back.

Yes it is a roll of the dice but with a statistical understanding of how often the dice will land on a double six or a double one.

In the future your tax bill may be offset by the dividends made by the governments stake in the bank but you'll get nothing back if your government doesn't insist on shares for money.

While on unemployment benefits, I cannot afford my energy bill (gas and electric) to increase by 40%.
 
I might not need to pay COBRA anymore . . ..  but in this area, having socialized medicine, I know I'd get an MD that probably went through school while receiving out sourced calls to fix my PC, as his job, a few years ago.
 
He is a socialist and his popularity has dropped considerably. 
People are saying, we didn't vote him in for this !! 
It's like no one wants to admit they voted for him, just like with Clinton.
I have seen many a scrapped off bumper sticker for Obama. 
 
Next year at this time, half the folk that got on his bandwagon will be off and scratching their heads or getting them out of their ass.

I voted for Obama and am glad that I did.  :>  That having been said, some of the policies that he is proposing are rather seemingly socialist.  Socialism,  imo, doesn't work well on a large-scale.  Grave concerns where that seems the intent.  Supportive of and hopeful about our president, though.  :>

I voted for him. I think he's doing a good job so far and I'm ready to see what things are like in four years when he comes up for re-election. Who knows? Maybe in four years, the conservatives will come up with a new idea that might work. So far, though, it seems that all the conservatives are doing is throwing stones and yelling "No!"

And how do you know this ,if the sticker is gone?

Obviously you didn`t vote for the president and are projecting that.

So he didn`t fix the economy in three months....sorry.

Have you removed a bumper sticker lately??????
It's damned hard and when words are left after an attempt...an idiot would never look at it twice...I notice cause I see the scrapping off of a bumper sticker once proclaiming OBAMA.

According to gallup Obama's approval rating as of today is 61%. He received 52.9% of the popular vote. So no his popularity doesn't seem to be declining significantly no matter what FNC and Rush say.

Most likely  Bush and McCain.

But that's another issue.

I think the real issue is what kind of moron defaces and devalues his/her own car with a bumper sticker.

(just to clarify, I was making a generic statement, not attacking you in particular)
