"Employee drugs bosses (Veterinarian) coffee with tranquilizers because he needs to chill out"

I'm fairly sure this won't look good on her resume'.

that's going to be a hard one to explain on a job application, "reason for leaving?"  "attempted murder of  boss, only wanted to drug him, district attorney saw things differently"

Well, she is going from cleaning animal cages to being housed like an animal in one.

in the right amounts a good allergy medication can knock someone the hell out
it doesnt say what she used and a lot of substances that can be labled as "Tranqilizers" arent really that restricted in the right amounts

yes but what type?
Ketamine (Or Special K as the kids call it) is a very easy substance to get a hold of in any vet office.
That is the one that seems most likely, given that most people understand what it is and what it does, and it is fairly widely used so there would be a lot of it about

The point is, commonplace or not, shouldn't these drugs have been under lock and key and signed for when used?
Ketamine is rife in the clubs here, one wonders how it can all be hitting the streets.

Ketamine is usually taken from mental hospitals actually from what I have heard here... Having never tried to boost drugs from anywhere I am not certain
Since it technically isnt considered a controlled substance, not so much really. I mean, yes it should have been signed out but she obviously didnt care about protocol anyway
