What a hairbrained idea! The Hancock was the tallest building, until the Sears Tower was built. It has nothing to do with "Sears". It has to do with local culture and that much of the world knows what the Sears Tower is. Didnt they learn with the Marshal Fields fiasco? I had no Idea what the bishop expressway was. I know/knew the Ryan, Stevensen, Kennedy, what is a traffic update with out the post office? Of course they took the S curve out of LSD, and got rid of belmont rocks. I think everyone should use a different name instead of the corporate name of the "institutions". Next thing you know they will die the Chicago river, "bale out green" for the week.
