Ok, so not quite a gusher. More like an ooze.

The other night Sir and I had a GREAT impact scene. It was pretty intense and I don't think there was a toy in the bag that got ignored. Afterward, I felt wet all over. (Not that kind of wet you perverts, although...yeah...weg). I mean the skin on my back and ass felt wet and sticky. Yes, there were some areas of broken skin from sharp stuff but that's not what I'm talking about. This was an all over wet stickiness. Well, now my back and ass are covered in a thin scab, kind of like the one you get over a healing tattoo. It was like the plasma had leached out of my skin all over from the impact and swelling. The muscles underneath are swollen and hard like rocks...but that's pretty normal for me after heavy play. I thought this leaking thing was rather unusual to happen from heavy impact alone though...anyone else ever had this occur?

Now it's healing and wow does it itch! Using lotion and looking for that backscratcher.....

From the lack of response I'm going to assume this is not so common. Hmmm...wonder if I should be worried?

MoGa -> RE: Oh my I sprung a leak! (3/10/2009 8:36:45 AM)

Hmm..My first thought when I started reading this, was it was a light perspiration. But since it has now scabbed over..I am really not sure. I have done heavy impact play, but not seen this in any of my subs. They could be abrasions. I know that after my car accident I had light abrasions on my skin and they seemed to ooze blood. Very lightly though. Might want to google on it. Hope it heals quickly for you Erin.

Sounds like you did enough muscle damage to have the serum in your blood come up through your pores trying to heal what your body preceived as damnage.  Personally I'd be concerned but I'm not a medical professional and I have never heard of it before. I've had blood come up through my pores when I bruise badly, and I've had the scabbing serum come up when I've had scratches and abrasions. but all over the body?? seems a tad odd to me. but that's just me.

MasterVirago -> RE: Oh my I sprung a leak! (3/10/2009 8:51:23 AM)

It could just be bruising, sometimes oozing happens from breaks in the skin that don't necessarily bleed or an allergic reaction to something. Was there a new toy, outdated lube or something else new that you applied to the skin? If it starts to clear up in a day or two then it was probably just from the skin breaks.

But the really itchy part could mean it's infected as well, especially if it's still oozing. If it's still oozing or has a strong smell, or bumps are starting to appear, I would suggest you go to the doctor asap.
Also if your muscles are really starting to ache, more than usual after heavy impact.

If it looks like it's clearing up, I wouldn't worry about it.

But I'm not a doctor. You could probably call your doctor and speak to someone about it. They should be able to tell you whether or not you need to come in.

zero69u2 -> RE: Oh my I sprung a leak! (3/10/2009 8:56:41 AM)

cleaning the abrasion with mild soap and water or a mild antiseptic wash like hydrogen peroxide, and then covering the area with an antibiotic ointment  (3 in 1 hydrocortison cream or something)

Aftercare with Aloe Lotion can be soothing if the skin is burning or itching alot.

could be perspiration and also skin reaction to.. perhaps some abrasion to skin epedermis.

SassySarijane -> RE: Oh my I sprung a leak! (3/10/2009 9:23:14 AM)

I have not gotten to that point when bottoming. It sounds like it was very intense all around. I don't have the first clue what it might be. I had initially thought, as another poster mentioned, that it might be sweat. I know I get very sweaty when I play hard and for an extended time. This doesn't sound like it was sweat in light of the further explanation you gave. I get occasional skin breaks and small abrasions as well but not to the point you are describing. The itching would seem to say it is healing, but I'd keep an eye on it and go to a doctor if warranted.

SteelofUtah -> RE: Oh my I sprung a leak! (3/10/2009 9:26:38 AM)

Abrasion Burn - It is like a Light Rug Burn. Your Butt had a lot of micro breaks not enough to Bleed from but akin to a light friction burn from the Carpet.

It is common. Just keep it clean and it will be gone in a matter of days.

If you are concerned see a dermatologist and tell them you were playing a spanking game with your husband/boyfriend/bootycall and things got out of hand and what they suggest.

That sounds like it. It's not all over my body though, just my back and my ass. I don't think it's infected or anything. As I said before, it's a lot like the scab you get over a tattoo. I don't really bruise anymore...there are some areas of it that have signs of bruising, which says a lot in itself for me. I mostly just get that really hard, swollen feeling tissue that feels like its full of fluid. The skin just seems like the top layers just disintegrated. In general, the back half of me kind of looks (and feels) like I was rear ended by an SUV...lol. Maybe I should ask Sir if he ever considered calling himself Tahoe or Suburban! The itch is definitely from the healing process and goes away when I soak or put lotion on.

HeavansKeeper -> RE: Oh my I sprung a leak! (3/10/2009 10:07:54 AM)

I'm not a doctor, but it seems like the hard play has caused proper wounds in some places (self report of blood) and ruptured only a few layers of skin in may other places.

Skin cells are water sacks, and ripping the tops off them releases their fluids. The sticky clear fluid, the tattoo like "white rash", the heavy endurance impact play... they can all be accounted for this way.

Who knows though. Might be lupus.

Why would Lupus cause that kind of reaction?

I guess its more of an inside joke than I thought. It's not lupus. Just a House M.D. reference.

ETA: If it was the rupture of multiple water sacks, be sure to treat like a tattoo. The moisturizing is to help new tissue form as supple as previous tissue.

Yeah i have to agree with heaveans keeper.  Cells are basiclly made of water.  If the intense impact session was hard enough it could easily rupture your newly formed skin cells.  the water/plasma/celljunk inside them would easily be pushed to the top and would probably dry and "scab" over.  Your body is smart, and gets rid of it's junk in the fastest way possible.  i doubt it's anything serious.

scottjk -> RE: Oh my I sprung a leak! (3/10/2009 4:55:17 PM)

Follow the advice for caring for wounds. Skin doesn't scab over without reason.

My guess is you got exfoliated babe! [:D]

Dead skin gone, new skin underneath, it reacts to protect itself. Anti-biotic ointment might be in order to speed things up and lay on your face. [:D]

At least, that's how I'd deal with it. If it got worse or infected, it's time to make a quick trip to the doc.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Oh my I sprung a leak! (3/11/2009 8:20:38 AM)

And AGAIN I miss all the excitement.

I am going to call the cutie Tahoe next time I see him!   And, yes, this is not wildly horrible, just keep a close eye on it, soak and lotion, and watch for cracks/fissures.  Well, HE can watch for those, he can see them better.  Annoying, but in the long run no big deal.

<Falls to the floor laughing> It's NOT Lupus! Not such an inside joke around my house, I have all 4 seasons on discs and am waiting for the 5th season :)
