(I'll probably get chastised for my placement herein but...) I just went to a wake...buddy (Ray) lost his wife 12 days ago...cancer...she went quick...restaurant that I hang out at on occasion put up a sign "Memory of Jeane.....(etc.)" "March 7, 2009..."...friend of mine....anyway... It was spectacular...the restaurant went all out...lots of food....good people...it was simple but...they didn't have to...crew went all out, bought a shitload of balloons....1 white one. After a wonderful montage of truly fabulous pictures and music...everyone grabbed a balloon....Ray, of course, grabbed his one white balloon (all the others were her favorite color...purple)...his went first....and then everyone let go of theirs....that was unfuckingbelievable. That was truly something. I'll never forget it. Hey Ray....it's all good :) (G'night Jeane :)) That was something. :)

I'm sorry for your loss Lookie... but think it was wonderful how you all did things! I had a doctor for a short time that I called my Patch Adam's. He had long hair... dx'd my rare illness and treated me very well. He had run for the senate and lost, cut his hair and was running for congress when he was killed doing a charitable bike run. They blew bubble's for him and everyone said it was amazing. I couldn't be there, but saw pictures. I hope that the family find comforts in the days ahead. I think the balloon's may be one of them.
