Hello. I'm new here. For those of you not sure how to address me, Shadow or Shadowed would be fine. I'm a switch, and actually have a little bit of experience with a small group locally. I've been more of a sub in my experiences, but i've had my moments where I've shown I could be a dom as well. And lately, I've had an awkward situation befall me. I've got a woman in mind I would like to collar me. But now, I also have someone that wants me to collar her. I'm a little too new to understand all the intricacies of this lifestyle, let alone if this is a normal situation to come accross or not. So anyone that would like to help I'd appreciate it. As for getting to know more about me, please ask away.

Thank you. I only had time to read about a third of the way so far (sadly, I have not yet slept, and its almost 7 AM and I may need to take a close friend to work later and need to be up in about 5 hours, otherwise, I would take the time to finish it now).
But from what I read, it is possible to do both. However, it also looks like it would also have its own positives and negatives to weigh and balance out first before I come to a solid decision. This will take some consideration, especially considering the woman I wish to collar me is also a switch and already collared. Also, she happens to be more of a sub as well. The woman wishing me to collar her however, only recently told me of her interest in this lifestyle. In fact, the way she broke it to me was telling me she would like for me to collar her. I must say, it shocked me and made me do a double take.
I will finish this useful topic you gave me the link to later on when I have time to spare. If there is any opinions you'd like to share on this situation, please feel free to speak your mind of them. As I said, I am realatively new to all of this and need to understand it better before I can truely understand myself better and make a well informed and thought out decision in this matter, let alone future decisions.
