How in the hell can that song date you? It's played every halloween at every party I have been to since I was 5 years old. Commercials still use it in advertising.

Unfortunately I'm dated by both since I remember the original of both Monster Mash (at least the most popular version by Bobby "Borris" Picket) in the early 1960's, as well as early 1970's versions of  "I'd like to teach the world to sing" by The Hillside Singers and the New Seekers I don't think we had our own TV when Coke first came out with their commercail but do remember seeing it.

And yes, I did enjoy the version of Monster Crash mentioned in the OP!
