No they won't. Obama and the Democrats are going through a honeymoon period right now. It will last through the year, but it won't last until November 2010. If the economy is still this bad (or worse), voters will blame the party in charge. It doesn't matter if that's fair or not, that's the way it is. When Bush Sr. lost in '92, I heard several Democrats say that he had no choice when he raised taxes. It didn't matter; people remembered that famous line, "...Read my lips..." When the Republicans took the Congress in 1994, it was completely unexpected. The Democrats can laugh it off all they want; the Republican Party is already mobilizing.

Too few have too much? Well, welcome to the real world. While there is inherited wealth, mostly held by woman, by the way, America has been the land of opportunity for anyone to build a business...sometimes starting in a garage like Apple Computer...and become billionairs.What right does anyone have to "take" any part of that wealth away to give the fruits of a successful persons hard work to a loser. From Bill Gates who built Microsoft, and gave us the operating system most of us use today on our PC's and put 60,000 people to work! Michael Dell who gave jobs to 90,000 people and on and on...
These people give back as well...with the Gates Foundation a huge supporter of education and research. Wealthy Wall Streeters support numerous charities that no one here bothers to research from "Harlem Children's Zone" to Columbia Presberterian Hospital..and on and on.

Up until this administration, people who worked hard to achieve the American dream were encouraged. Today, taxpayers are told that they have to pay the mortgage for the guy down the street who bit off more than he could chew..or send money to strangers who fucked up their lives on drugs, or thought college was a four year paid vacation, or were just downright lazy....as well as those that are truly needy through no fault of their own but on tough times now.

Its important for those in power to maintain a semblance of bipartisan infighting. Whenever the party of the White House changes over, its important for all the taxpayers to focus on the bickering between the two groups, so that the U.S. taxpayers will not focus on holding those who voted treasonous legislation in, or made treasonous unilateral decisions that will affect the U.S. future for generations to come. Some examples would be: Clinton's deal with the Chinese which gave ICBM technology to the Communist Chinese in return for the Chinese govt. allowing our corporations to screw our unions and use Chinese labor, The Patriot Act, the eradication of the Fairness Doctrine, NAFTA, CAFTA, SHAFTA, and plenty of other actions NOT REBELLED AGAINST by those in Washington. Somehow this idea of a Middle Class came about, but there's not as much profit in that for the elite, as there was back in the good ol' days of Feudalism. You might notice that we're gearing down to get back to that Grand Old Pace of the feudalistic society.

Kinda like what I call give that man a cigar syndrome Bush supporters on the net suffer from. Where they say that no matter what Bush did, it's not even close to being as bad as Clinton's lying about a blowjob.

The Republicans are the sorest losers on the planet. The whole thing with Monica Lewinsky and stuff was all about the Republicans not facing the fact that they lost, twice.

And sorry but while the Democrats did their share of whinning, nothing compares to the nonesense between 92 and 2000.

You also need to add a few more lines of propaganda. Since a few weeks before the 9-11 attacks we had a huge surplus. Something like The evil bush conspiracy to wipe out the surplus was at root behind the 9-11 attack. In an instant he achieved his evil goals as the economy grinded to a halt after the attacks.

Well it's the truth, other than the complicity.

And it was nothing like the whinning the Republicans did after Clinton won which was all about them not facing the fact that he beat them.

Sorry, but just like pointing out all the mistakes past and present presidents made doesen't change the fact that a man with no arms no legs who can't see hear or speak could've done a better job than Bush did.

Pointing out the whinning after the 2000 election doesen't change the fact that Republicans got Clinton impeached simply because they were the sorest bunch of losers in history.

Sorry you can point out as many things as you can.

Bush was still an incompetent fool.

Impeaching Clinton for his Monica testimony was like getting al Capone for tax evasion.
Bill should have been impeached for chinagate and possibly executed for treason. With all the key witnesses leaving the country you get what you can get. What was left was a blue dress with the presidents DNA sample on it. Just imagine if Monica swallowed then there wouldn’t have been an impeachment.

To use a parrallel example to yours, Bush leaving office and not being impeached is akin to Carlo Gambino(once head of the most powerful mob family, the one John Gotti ran into the ground) dying without ever going to prison. What Clinton did, sorry but pales in comparison to Bush.

And it's more like if the Republican party were more gracious in defeat, there wouldnt've been an impeachment. Because that's what it was all about. The Republicans not willing to face the fact that they were defeated. It had nothing with Lewinsky,
she was just a pawn on the chessboard.
