As it has been stated before... It's a "verbal" shrug of indifference it has been around a while, but I believe it caught on because of a popular animation South Park (The character Cartmen that uses it waaaaaay to much) It will probably be around to stay for three simple reasons It's quick to type No one asks (what does that mean?) when read and because the kids have a strong hold on Internet "Speak" But, most importantly... Like D'oh it has made its way into the Dictionary http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,452993,00.html If you want to create a catch phrase, make it quick, simple and easy to remember the meaning.... but, the most important thing... Feed it to the masses of teenagers, if they approve...then the phrase will last...
