I don't think things will change much. There is too much of an opportunity to use "fear" again. It has started...the military asked for 30k and Obama gave them 17k for Afghanistan. So once again politics interferes with accomplishment. Risking more lives by sending fewer soldiers than is deemed necessary by those paid to know. I agree..they just need to wake up and smell the tar baby. But as long as they see the tar baby as a pawn....
