Thank you very much for the valuable feedback.  Like I said, I may be mostly to blame for not succeeding in finding what I am looking for.

I understand his frustration, but speaking as a Domme, I get many letters from Male subs. An attentive reading of My profile shows that I am not interested in Male subs and neither is My partner. I would consider it a waste of time to reply to each letter and point out that the writter had obviously overlooked, or ignored, or refused to take the time to discover that very salient fact....one that I have made perfectly clear. In fact, in writing a reply, I feel certain that I would point out the "error" and then proceed to make some less than kind remarks, that would be called for, but would end up being demeaning to ME for losing My temper and forgetting My southern charm. So consider that fact... as She may be doing both of you a favor!

If you knew how many messages most dominant women receive you would understand. I do not wish to use my whole day sending responses to men I have not interest.

What happens when woman sends "no thank you" message. I will tell. She gets response asking "why." Now the reply mail adds to the new mail and inbox catches fire from overload.

If you receive no reply then person is not interested. Move on.

I sent away 7 pages of replies in 7 days. Most said no-thank you. I received so many replies to my replies, asking why or insulting me. I no longer reply to most messages. Some men were gentlemen but most only wanted what they wanted and cared not for my desires.

I am 250 pounds and very ugly. This is why I have no picture. Imagine how many messages the pretty women receive.

I change "a" in woman to "e"

We should keep thread responses on file for next man ranting of no responses. I think I will cut and paste save my responses.

Wow that is one crap diet your on[:(].....sue them [8|]....i mean i saw your picture only last week and.......[;)]

As others have pointed out, submissive men far outnumber Dominant women which makes it more difficult for you to find what you are seeking.  There are several ways you can increase your chances of finding that special lady.  You can increase your chances by posting here in the forums.  Posting gets you noticed...favorably if you do intelligent, thoughtful posts and not solely whines or complaints.  You can also increase your chances of finding that Dominant woman by attending munches in your area.  Volunteer for the group and you'll get noticed more often.  You can also go to events.  A recent one in my area was the Southwest Leather Conference.  There are also volunteer positions at those events.  By volunteering you meet the greatest number of people and they see you as being willing to be of service.  It's your chance to make a good impression and the person you assist today might know someone who is looking. 

By the way, a stranger sending unsolicited mail on a web site should not consider a non answer to be rude.  No answer  means...NOT INTERESTED.  It is NOT rude to not answer mail you did not ask to have sent.  I do not chat on the phone with all the salespersons who call me just because they took the time to call me.  Nor should be expect an answer from someone you do not know and who does not know you. 

However, if you wish to give up your search, there is nothing I will do to make you stay here.  You are an adult and can leave anytime you wish.  Weekly someone complains about people being rude by not answering mail.  You are one of many many who have done so.  It was a bit childish to complain and then say you were leaving cause no one would play by your personal rules.  But as I have said...YOUR choice...your tantrum.

It's not so focused on the meeting people aspect as a lot here are already involved. Although I've heard that argument, the two sides have distinct functions and there isn't much overlap IMO.

 oh..yes the writers are few..but for sure plenty of readers that we don't see.Most that contact me..never write here..but read here.That is why they contact me (don't aks me why..lol)But they learn a lott about you when you write here. More then just from having a profile.

Okay, maybe it only takes ten seconds. But if I let my inbox go I typically have fifty unwanted messages or more awaiting me. How much time does it take from my week to open, read and respond to each one? After a while this gets OLD.

Which is exactly why I hide my profile the majority of the time... if I wanted spam, I'd be on the luncheon meat isle.

usually when i tell someone "no thanks" - i get a "why not ...i think we're compatible" reply back.

deleting the message without responding saves my the unnecessary headaches.

Is funny people in forums think I am cute. When I send messages to submissive men informing them about my kink I receive replies informing me I am too mean.

You better believe her, I can tell.
All my female ancestors from my mom's side were Polish, and they all were everything Nikitaa tells. My mom used to frighten the shit out of me until I became a not-so-feared, just-a-bit-polish, not-so-dominant, little-of-a-dominatrix, similar-to-a-domme myself. Maybe I'd turned out better if born in Poland too ...
