Our sense of humors are quite evenly matched and his authority is in no way threatened by mine or alandra's playful nature and this impishness is expected and enjoyed by him. C'm on guys give the Op a fair go. She's only posted twice and by my math she needs at least three critical posts before the big guns open. I can imagine what a few friends would say if they really set their minds to it. Lisa, lass, just bide your time and give the community here to get to know the real you. Most of them are a likable lot even when you’re having a fiery debate with them. Being successful does not mean that you must have a sub or a coffle of them, it just means that you are discerning and prefer not to waste your and other people’s time with anything less that what you want. That BTW is one of the signs of a successful Master, you know what you want and will not settle for less. Personally at my advanced age, I don’t expect to fill another collar, and I can settle for that too. I do understand your concept of the community as I had a similar one when I first joined. I just waited and waited, reading toe forums until I had a handle on it then I started to post. The result is some wonderful people who I am proud to call friend and hopefully if I can get across the duck pond between Australia and the US, I’ll be sharing a few BBQs and many drinks with them as well as learning all I can.
