I did a search and I don't think I saw this question anywhere so don't shoot
What exactly does the block user button do? If you block a person, will they be able to see your profile or look up your profile or do you completely disappear?
And one other question, what happens if a blocked user messages me, do they see that I have blocked them or how does the whole thing work?

and erm..the last question, if they have messaged you and you block them..can they reply?? (like the reply button becomes disabled from messages if the sender has deleted their account..or whether it disappears, I don't remember but at least you can't reply..)

...it would be awesome if it just came that the user had disabled their profile  :P

The block button only works in conjunction with the announcement you’ve used the block button. This is what I gather thus far.

If they message you it will not let the message through and tells them you have blocked them

I think they can still see your profile, if you do not want to see their profile use the Hide Profile button and they disappear.

You can also hide your profile...people can still message you (except for those you've blocked) and you can reply but your profile goes invisible.
