Nope. That's how Paulson sold this pile of shit. The problem is that, catastrophic as doing nothing might have been, what we have now is far, far WORSE.

We STILL have the credit freeze.

The comapnies that are supposed to make money by lending are instead making money from government bailouts. So they're less inclined to lend than they would have been if we had done nothing.

WE OWE about a trillion dollars more. That's gonna be REAL painful to pay back.

The insane thing is that nobody has the balls to stand up and say, "We just fucked up with the taxpayers' money. We had a mess and we made it MUCH worse." No, the lie is on that this will help...

Of course not. Not only will this be a couple more Trillion but I figure give this about 20-30 years...it will happen again. For example...you don't think we will be bailing out Mexico again ? We have 2 or 3 times already...I forget. I lose track of all the socialism for the rich...there has been so much of it.

I say before 2020 we will. Nevermind that by that time we could buy up ALL of the pesos in circulation for the price of an aircraft carrier..we will financially feel the Mexican (and American) investor's pain and lend them a few more hundred Billion.

There is a whole lot of impovershing of the west that has yet to be done.

All this inspite of the fact that the great 'free-market' capitalism has the Mexican oligarchy now all multi-billionaire familes.

Oh BTW, this is ongoing by everybody so they can take adavantge of all the '$ociali$m' they can.
