Kirata -> Aspirin and Cancer (1/26/2009 11:35:32 PM)
|
Bottom Line Personal reports that researchers at Duke University Medical Center, analysing the results of six different studies involving 70,000 men and 76,000 women, have found that regular aspirin (325mg daily) affords a 15% overall risk reduction for cancer, up to 20% for prostate cancer, and as much as 30% for colorectal cancer. Interestingly, the correlation did not hold for other NSAIDs like ibuprofen and tylenol. K.
