I'm addicted to the wedding shows. "Bridezilla", "Whose Wedding Is It Anyway?", etc. The only I can't stand is "Platinum Weddings". Granted, if I had that much money I might buy that stuff too but it just makes me go... "DEAR LORD! YOU DON'T NEED A MILLION DOLLARS FOR YOUR WEDDING BUDGET!"

"my fair wedding".  for the sheer horror on the host's face when he sees what some of  the brides have planned for their weddings....and the tears of joy on the bride and grooms' faces when they see what beauty they get to remember, instead.

just one question?  why do people watch that crap?  all of that reality bullshit is just that.  i gave it a try, briefly, and wanted to strangle the people through the television set.  get a grip!  you'll catch me watching discovery channel, history channel, tlc, stuff like that.  guess i'm an oddball, as a kid my favorite shows were m*a*s*h and 20/20.  my friends watched the soaps, i hated daytime tv.  these days i'll watch house if cub has it on but i won't go looking for it.  there's nothing worth watching anymore.

Why watch?  It's like watching a train wreck - a guilty pleasure, an escape from other real worries or concerns.

ETA:  not that watching a real train wreck is a guilty pleasure ... i was speaking metaphorically, of course.    just covering my behind...

I see money... but no class whatsoever. I find them disgusting.  Yet... how smart can these men really be... if that is what they marry? And their um's...omg!

I've wondered the same about "bridezillas".  Why oh why doesn't the man run for the hills?

Most of the brides (till the recent seasons) haven't been that bad to the groom - just to everyone else. Lately though... even I can't stomach it. There is one where I wonder if they have a D/s dynamic because she tells him he won't get to have any of his friends except one that she likes and would marry instead of him!

That is a great show. I wish I could get him to come help with mine. I'm sick of trying on wedding dresses, I want him to come find one for me!

Dexter, Mad Men, Weeds (although it may have jumped the shark this season), True blood, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Curb Your Enthusiasm, 30 Rock. The only 3 channels you need are HBO, Showtime and AMC, just watch 30 Rock on Hulu.com :)

I was at a party in L.A. hanging out by the pool and met an airhead who pointed out her new boyfriend to me and raved about what a great guy he was because he was paying for her new boobs!  They both had that tanning-bed crispy look to them too.

I managed to smile and say something about her being a lucky woman and escaped to another group of people.

When those women break loose... they show their fake boobs that hubby bought, drunk off their ass and when hubby leave's before they get the boobs, they often require that he pay for them in the divorce settlement... the wive's say... they are working on the next husband.  I can't believe the stupid things they say and do.  I see money... but no class whatsoever. I find them disgusting.  Yet... how smart can these men really be... if that is what they marry? And their um's...omg!

I live in OC...even in that part where most of the Housewivies live.  I have never seen the show, I put up with the ads  from what I have seen...all should be taken to the local dungeon tied to a St. Andrews Cross and whipped.   As to Bridezilla..okay I watched a few shows...glad I am not getting married...

Whipping spoiled women on a St. Andrews cross?  We could charge on Pay-Per-View!  or ..err...maybe not!

Well, the tongues of kitty cats both small and great are raspy and rough for licking the meat off of bones.  But they also give such sweet little nibbles when they clean you.
