Now hold on.  Hillary was there for no reason other than her Husband's coattails.  Her entire carreer has been based on being Bill's wife, and lying to give him bimbo cover.

Palin worked her way from PTA to Govenor on her own merits.

Now hold on.  Your post is idiotic.

Hillary finished 2nd in her law class (higher than Bill) and while she may have gained her Senate seat in part due to her last name, she has been well-respected in the Senate for the past eight years.

And in case you missed the news, Barack Obama (who was President of the Harvard Law Review, taught Constitutional law at U of Chicago, beat seven white men and Hillary herself in the primaries, and won in an electoral landslide) thinks highly enough of her to make her Secretary of State.

I didn't support her to be the Democratic nominee, but I have never doubted her intellect.

Are you really that ignorant of her 'entire carreer', as you put it?

I don't doubt her intellect at all.  Hillary is a smart woman.  But as you noted, she wouldn't be a Senator, except for her man.  Maybe if she had lived a different life, she could have become a political figure on her own, we will never know, as she didn't take that path.

Barak is a smart cookie though.  Got her out of the Senate, and now her Political career is based on his whim....Hows that go?, "keep your friends close and enemies closer"

Barack made Hillary Secy of State so that he wouldn't have to worry as much about the Clintons stabbing him in the back for the next 4 years. Her appointment is ironic...given the Clintons' blantant appeal to racism during the primary.

An opinion you conveyed the opposite of in your post.  Not to mention that you elevated noted non-intellectual Sarah Palin above her.

I didn't reference the intellect level of either of them cagey.  I noted that Hillary is where she is in Politics because of her Man.  And Palin worked herself from rather modest means to Govenor of a State, which indicates a bit of brains to me.  Both are smart women.

No, actually you said

'Entire'.  As if after day 1, none of her career was her own doing.

Clearly you didn't see her interviews...

As opposed to Palin who has a career based on people wanting to sleep with her.

Not sure I follow you there, BBW.  I do notice your not defending Hillary though.

Palin was the governor of a state with a tiny population made up almost entirely of men. Do you really think it's much of a leap to assume that she got at least a few of her votes because of being pretty? One of the few smart things Palin ever did was to use her looks to her advantage.

And I think Hilary is incredibly intelligent and well qualified for the positions she has held. That being said, I would never deny that she used name recognition to her advantage. It would have been stupid for her not to. Just like I think their daughter will probably do the same in 20 years. I don't see any problems with it.

Why would one have to defend to Hilary. She was elected by the people in 2000.

And if one wishes to further know about her so called useless ride therefore after, they only have to google.

That being said... again, HRC was voted in, she was the one who went on to inspire all those votes from women and men alike.

Not some hand picked maiden who no other voter had a choice or voice on, hand picked and frankly, George W with breasts and an even more frightening outlook. So glad people saw through all the glam and shock towards the end.

Yes but you say it as though something’s wrong with that.
