I personally don't worry about stuff like that Daddy doesn't either. IF we're going to have sex we'll be doing it regardless how the bedroom looks or doesn't look..


I suppose if the room was absolutely horridly filthy and or crawling with bugs and stunk to high hell cause the filth or was rechidly unpleasant to be in because it was neon pink or something I'd worry about  how the room looked, but other wise?

I have more pressing things to worry about.

Also sexy; windows that open. Fresh air is way hotter than incense or scented candles. Those are nice too, they're just better when there's good ventilation. And as someone mentioned previously, mirrored ceilings are tacky as hell.

You wouldn't like my room then, I have over 26 stuffed toys on display, There's more than 26 in the collection, but 26 are the ones that happen to be on display right now, Some of them are on the entertainment center by the bed and then there's the 15 that sit on the mini fridge, and there's one or two who always stay in my bed, since I sleep with them and watch tv and cuddle with them.

Now I do move them out of the way for sex, I don't want to ruin them with bodily fluids, but that being said.....


The people I am having over for company can either be ok with it, or they can simply not come over, I won't re arrange my things just cause someone has a problem with my things being out.

The stuffed toys are not watching, they couldn't care less what we're doing in the bed, and I would honestly think it was irrational of someone if they insisted it was like we were being watched lol. * This coming from someone who does talk to the toys, and does still play with some of  them and treats them kindly as if they DID really have feelings and were alive. *

The king is only too big if the person being tied is tiny! Tie me up to a queen size spread eagle and, well, I'm not very 'spread' at all. My hand reaches the corner, and my elbow still touches my side. I'm pretty damned big, of course, but if the person being tied is 6feet taller or more it should be fine.

Also, I really don't like silk, satin, or high-thread-count sheets. I'd say: test different kinds out, if you can. If there's a type that you've used before and you know you like it, stick with it. I had extremely high thread count sheets for a few months, and they were no where near as comfy as my good 'ole jersey-knit.

Back on topic of the original post: My bedroom IS my living room... and my computer room... but then again I'm a student living in the dorms. My ideal bedroom for a mixture of sultry and pleasant seems to jive well with what an earlier poster said. Less is more! A wooden bed stained quite dark with a pillow-top mattress... and lots of pillows. I love eclecticism, so I like different colors and pillowcases that don't match my sheets. Two (large) comforters, at least, clearly different from each other. A night stand for each side of the bed that matches the style of the bed, and maybe a television (a big maybe). Lighting would be wall-mounted sconces that are dimmable, preferably with either a switch by the bed as well as the door, or small, unobtrusive lamps on the night-stands. Colors (except the pillows and comforters) would be earth-tones and darker. Preferably the floor would be hard-wood with a rug or two, and the walls would be painted, not papered. Either NO window, or heavy, heavy curtains.

Otherwise I'd like to keep everything else (clothes and such) out of the bedroom.

You can also purchase sheets with hand and ankle cuffs built in from adult toy stores. *Disclaimer, I have not personally tried these items, just seen them for sale.

Dark red walls, dark wood furniture and black bedding. The use of heavy fabric curtains, lined velour being a favourite. During the day, the bedroom kept dim by fretted wood window shutters just enough to allow streams of filtered light in but not a glare. Fitments,lighting and such why that just has to be organic styled blackened iron and coloured glass

I tend lo like a Morrocan/ Arabesque decor, as to me a bedroom should be the epitome of style and luxury. Oh the ceiling, I like the use of draped fabric coming to an apex at the light fitment, I suppose to give the impression of a tented ceiling.

My ideal, but the trouble is what I have now is more akin to a workshop, as the size of my place, luxury is not such an option, it has to be functional, and I am a craft maker,so my crafts are everywhere.

I hadn't thought of that.  LOL.  I sometimes share my room with the grand.  She has somehow become much more important than anything else.  Still, this thread has given me food for thought.  I could try to figure out a way to make the room into more of a haven for me, at least some of the time.  After all, people put poles in their rooms, that are easily removeable.

Daddy and I had problems for a month with our double bed, being to small, I would scoot way sideways with my hip to his side my feet to his side, but my head on my side, and many a night he almost got shoved out. I had considered getting a queen eventually, cause then I couldn't afford a new bed. Queens realistically aren't much bigger than double beds however, I figured the extra inches on the side would help.




One night Daddy and I got a king size bed with the hotel room we were staying in, and it was all over. With in a month less than a month really, I went out and fiananced a CA king size bed,  and I have not regretted it once. There's  no more room issues in the bed, I can sleep just as wonky as I please, and it's   no bother to him. We've only had one instance of me pushing him out, and that was after a very bad nightmare I scooted up so close to him I could climb inside him.

Haha, I'm a funky sleeper myself, though it's worse if the bed is bigger. When I sleep alone I thrash horribly (nightmare or not) and since my beds are usually up against walls sometimes I'll have bruises [:D]

With someone else I'm relatively tame, though. Enough that my ex and I slept (quite comfortably) on a twin size bed together for almost two years. The only problem with that was that I was physically big enough that parts of both of us were off the bed! It was funny because we'd usually end up sleeping with our backs to each other [:D] In a double bed it was better, but I move around a lot more, I toss and turn and such.

But you're right, queen's aren't really *much* bigger than doubles (though my double and a half is bigger than a queen, go figure) when it comes to actual sleeping issues and room. Nothing beats a King. You don't have to use extra room, but it's better to have extra room than not enough!

Ugh, I dated a boy with a water bed once...never again haha, I have never felt so sick! For some reason I'm fine with boats, but water beds destroy my stomach.

I love how Natalie has done my master's chambers. It has a central light from which everything flows outward on the ceiling. she has decorated the entire ceiling in a circular pattern around the light with tuck and rolled fabric. she has also hung matching drapery all around the room giving it the air it is an Arabian Sultan's tent. With a sleep number king sized 4 poster as the focal point I greatly enjoy my leizure time in this room.
