Am I supposed to be automatically flattered because someone liked my profile or showed some interest? I received an email the other day from a dom that I know is married. Now, I state quite clearly in my profile that I'm not interested in married or attached doms nor am I interested in being a sister sub (or whatever). Anyway, this dom messages me and I more or less restated it, saying that we couldn't be anything more than penpals. Well, he told me that I should be flattered that he and his wife were interested in me. I mean, I usually add something like "thanks for the interest" to a thanks, but no thanks email...mostly cuz I'm polite that way. But to be told that I should be flattered when I clearly state that I'm not interested? Or am I being too tight assed?

If he has to mention to you that you need to be flattered..then perhaps you shouldn't. Beeing flattered is a feeling you should have with out beeing told. But normally it is nice when people peek in.

I once had a gay man contact me with a badly misspelled boast about how good he was at sucking cock. I'm straight and was unavailable at the time, and my profile stated both. I didn't feel flattered. Call me a snob, but the caliber of person contacting me has a lot to do with how flattered I am, and to be contacted by a semiliterate yahoo who evidently didn't read my profile didn't gratify me much. Ignore the turkey. He's already moved on to another random woman who's also not interested in what he has to offer.

When he meant how do you like sex, and why do you have sex. Now to me any one claiming to be a doctor, unless they were in some third world country, should know how to put together sentances properly and should know how you sex?
