MarksFantasyGirl -> RE: Please keep me company!! (2/2/2009 6:58:30 PM)

I'm here.... Kinda... Again... OH-MY-GOD!  PMS, slight depression, and a good book are not a good mix... I just wanna sob.... Ok, Wait... I AM sobbing..... I'm just trying to do it quietly so my UM doesn't realize it.... Holy Hell!  I need a hug!!!

dcnovice -> RE: Please keep me company!! (2/2/2009 6:59:48 PM)

* hugs MFG *

MarksFantasyGirl -> RE: Please keep me company!! (2/2/2009 7:02:26 PM)

Thanks DC... Yeah, all that, plus, can't forget that it was a VERY bad day today... Yeah.. That made it better.... I really wish that a certain friend of mine was on here.  He always knows just what to say to cheer me up.... Or make me really break down, and get it all out of my system...

mydomsabstrd -> RE: Please keep me company!! (2/2/2009 7:03:26 PM)

everything ok dc?

DesFIP -> RE: Please keep me company!! (2/2/2009 7:06:29 PM)

Fannie, if you really need to cry and not before the little one, take a shower. Cry in there. Just keep tissues on hand so you can blow your nose immediately afterwards. Nothing worse than dripping wet and sniffling.

Started with an 8am dental appointment to discuss hideously expensive ways to replace an infected tooth that got yanked. Then my boss was back to her bad witch, hating-everything-I-do persona. And I'm totally burnt out at work.

mydomsabstrd -> RE: Please keep me company!! (2/2/2009 7:09:52 PM)

that sucks dc, sorry to hear that.

dcnovice -> RE: Please keep me company!! (2/2/2009 7:11:24 PM)

Thanks. The irony is, this weekend I was talking about how my intractable depression finally seemed to be lifting. Then wham!

Lovely disease, isn't it?!

MarksFantasyGirl -> RE: Please keep me company!! (2/2/2009 7:18:26 PM)

Fuck!!  I'm so sick of crying, it's not funny..... I've been doing it ALL day.. from 530 this morning.  About every 5-10 minutes.... I'm exausted....

DesFIP -> RE: Please keep me company!! (2/2/2009 7:22:50 PM)

I've just yelled at my oldest to go try a tanning session because SAD is making her really down. She won't get up two hours early to sit under a light box so an occasional tanning session couldn't hurt.

Folks, it's winter. Of course we're down. SAD makes regular depression worse.  What we really need is a medically prescribed trip to someplace tropical or semitropical. Instead, we could try a light box. Lots of vitamin D, and rent comedies and watch them. It does help.

Used to get all the old Marx Brother movies every winter.

dcnovice -> RE: Please keep me company!! (2/2/2009 7:22:53 PM)

Do you know what triggered it?

Not that that necessarily helps.

MarksFantasyGirl -> RE: Please keep me company!! (2/2/2009 7:30:14 PM)

Yeah.  The UM has Chicken Pox.... And seeing the sad, hurt look on my 3year olds face, and Hearing "Mommy!  I Hate SHICKEN POTS!" And knowing that I couldn't do anything for the little guy at 530 was the main thing.... That's what started it... It went down hill after that
