i just saw this notice on the IRC server notice for CM's chat and can't believe it's true. can someone varify? In loving memory of MissDal who had passed away Nov 28, 2008, after losing a battle with Sickle Cell Anemia. She lived in Seattle but was from New York. Her funeral will be Jan 10, 2009 held at the Dalton Funeral Home, Williston Park, New York.

No offense meant, but people I don't know die every day. I don't know "MissDal", so I don't know why you think it's our obligation to confirm her death to you.

She was always kind to me in the chats and we chatted alot over the past year or so. unlike some people on CM (mostly the forums) She treated me alot better than i have been.

Michael, I went to the website for the funeral home, but it didn't give any names of whom they're burying. My sympathies on your loss.

When was the last time you talked to her and what did she say? The profile here says she was last online four days before the date the notification mentions.

Call the funeral home and ask. They should be able to tell you if it's true or not.

Well I looked at this thread out of curiosity for the title. In normal circumstances that would be it. Looking and replying aren't mandatory. You could always google the newspapers in the area.
