I found it held together an old chrystler fairly well...though it was actually a combination of duct tape, silly putty, pantyhose, and paperclips, among other odds and ends. 

And yes, dear Steven, it IS just like the Force.  In every way but one:  Yoda.  You get me duct tape with Yoda printed on it, and oh baby...the things I'd let you do with it...

The Man tried to fix the dryer ducting but it isn't working again. He has to remove the ceiling panels and redo it, hopefully this time without using the duct tape.
