Definitely up to the individual but piercings other than my ear or side of nose are like NOT! Even some type of tattoo would have to be discreet and pretty so it varies from person to person.as I am sure you are hearing about. Good luck!

Huh. Me too. I got my ears pierced in 1978 and they never healed, they still get infected on a weekly basis despite never wearing any sort of earring. So I will never again have parts pierced, just not worth the hassle for me. Even non pierced jewelry irritates me if worn for a long period of time. Blah.

I would make sure this is something you both want. I have my outer labia peirced on either side, it was done proffessionally and I have had other peircings done before but I have never had anything so painful done, even the large cutting on my shoulder-done with a scalpel was a tickle in comparison! It looks great and my Owner was with me as it was his suggestion that he would like to see me in the rings.  I don't regret them but wow, lol I wouldn't want to have to do it again  =)
They heal fairly quickly but be aware that there will be NO unprotected sex, no oral at all for many months.  Body fluids  are not peircing freindly-well other peoples body fluids, our own actually make it heal faster in membranes but introduce an outside source and you could end up with some really, really ugly staph infections.

shorn had shorn's labia (both of them) pierced years ago, after becoming a slave but not because of it. shorn just wanted it. shorn did this after shorn's nipples were pierced, which was also a neat thing. Belly button followed, and shorn is giving serious thought to septum.

Our husband had the idea of hanging a slave tag from one ring and soldering it shut, the other is also soldered shut and used for a lead or to lock shorn to something.

I would love this, but already have 5 labia piercings, (which at the moment I need to put back in, as I had them taken out for giving birth.  Instead my Master is going to mark me with a tattoo after my husband finishes his mark for me. (My somewhat vanilla husband decided tht he is fine with Master marking me, but it has to be done after his tattoo, which I think is cute, since they both own me, just in different ways)

To those who think piercing is temporary and will just heal back up, it really depends on your body.  I have had my piercings out for up to 3 years at a time and they have never healed up.  If you would be upset if it became permanent, don't do it.

So long as she is happy with that I think its a great piece of collaring jewellry. Its discreet, its minimal and it comes out if need be. It also carries the potential to directly affect her sexual pleasure so long as it is done properly.
Have you thought the piercing itself? would it be on the inner or outer labia. I had a VCH and I found that very wearable but it did, like all my piercings, eventually migrate [:(]
I am thinking about getting a triangle but worried about the length of time it takes to heal. The VCH btw heals very quickly.

Your right about it leaving scar tissue. I have some but you would have to find it with a magnifying glass.
An inner labia piercing is whats called a 'random piercing' meaning the skin has been pinched during the canula insertion. Once the jewellry is taken out the internal tunnel can not remain straight and so putting jewellry back in often proves very difficult and often impossible. Saying that I have known people who can re-insert but they are few and far between.

Yes on long term committed property, not recreational or vanilla slaves.

They are in fact more then symbols; they are working “equipment” to be used.
