Glad to see a lot of other people that share similar interests on the site. I just happened to run into this site by a search engine and joined. Anyways, my name is Laura and I am 21. I am a very easy person to get to know, however i take time to warm up. Not many people have gotten me to smile, but get me to laugh, and i will become a great friend.

Welcome Laura, and greetings. The Thumb of Michigan happens to be one of those great gags TV comics are always fond of pulling for a cheap laugh: here's Michigan, how many states can claim they look like a mitten, etc. Recently, I had cause to get to know the Thumb very well, Tuscola County, and the town of Deford, and sadly, not in the happiest of circumstances. Where are you from, in the Mitten, or does it all get lost and not matter anymore once you stray away from the salient THUMB? Hope we shall hear more from you here. Welcome! What part of MI? I'm originally from there myself, just moved about 2 years ago.
